Velocity means speed, and that's just what the Ridgeback Velocity is all about. Very similar to the single chainring Ridgeback Comet in terms of geometry and components, except with a triple chainset for maximum top end speed and highly efficient climbing ability.
Using a Shimano Acera / Tourney 3x8 drivetrain with responsive Alloy V-brakes, built onto a heat-treated Aluminium frame and Chromoly fork for a good balance between low weight, ride suppleness and high durability. Wide 40c tyres also make the bike versatile for light off-road use and offer reliable traction in mixed weather conditions.
